Radio One’s big Weekend- Preston

Well, what can I say? I have been spectacularly out of the loop because of concentrating for exams, which are now over (yes, this marks my official return to this blog!). Therefore I only saw an advert for Radio One’s Big Weekend on Thursday just before it was going to kick off at the weekend. D’oh!

So, whilst consoling myself that I couldn’t have gone to the concert anyway due to tickets selling out weeks ago, me just arriving back from uni, and going on a referee’s course (for karate sparring competitions)- I settled down and watched the highlights on BBC Three. Great stuff! Anyhow, it’s good to see Preston getting an event like this, as it doesn’t really get events like the other cities do for e.g. the Leeds Festival, Download, Glastonbury etc.
