Have I done a deal or what?!

I’m quite happy about this, so much so that I’ve practically told everyone I know which may be a bit sad, but there you go.  This particular story concerns my mobile phone contract.  So are you sitting comfortably?  Then I’ll begin…

I’ve been with Orange for a good 2 or 3 years now, and I hope it stays that way, because I’m racking up some serious  loyalty bonuses!  Anyhow I’ve been on an 18 month contract for £25 a month, which gave me a free Sony Ericsson k800i, 100 minutes and 1000 texts (per month).

I have renegotiated another 18 month contract with Orange for £25 a month again, with a free handset upgrade to the Sony Ericsson k850i, 400 minutes and 1100 texts (per month)!  I am really chuffed about this deal, YEA!  I was originally going to stick with my existing handset but seen as the upgrade is free, I thought I’d treat myself.

Tip of the day then?  Negotiate and renegotiate until you’re happy with the deal.  Most mobile operators will do anything to keep you as a customer.
