‘That’s What You Get’ release dates
Paramore release their new single ‘That’s What You Get‘ on the 5th of May 2008 (download) and 12th of May 2008 (physical). I think these dates are US only. I’ll hopefully be able to update this article with UK release dates when they become available.
It will be available as a download and CD single. Look for pre-order info coming soon.
Well… It’s really a case of ‘show me the money’. If there’s a bonus track or two, I’ll happily shell out for the single. If not, then you’re gonna have a tough time convincing me to outlay a few of my finest Great British Pounds on a song I already own.

That’s What You Get is another outstanding song from Riot!, in fact, I would have released it much earlier than now. This song almost has me dancing in my chair, and is catchy enough to listen to over and over. The accompanying video is quite good, although the Riot! videos are not as good as earlier releases, namely Pressure and Emergency.
Think you’re dead right on the last bit, you simply cannot release a single on its own – where’s the incentive to buy it? Just having an acoustic version, a remix or a HD version of the video would do nicely.
