My 100th
Jul 10th, 2008 by Los Havros
Yes, this is officially the 100th post for my humble blog, Los Havros. I have decided that this post will take the form of a long, rambling, but hopefully entertaining passage for you to read or perhaps chuckle at.
Firstly, there is something that I’d like to address. I almost called this post ‘Our 100th, Jim’. Seriously. Y’see, my previous post, ‘It’s Liverpool Jim, but not as we know it‘ set off some stupid and bizarre thoughts in my mind which even I do not understand. Once I think or mention the famous Star Trek phrase, I’m doomed to repeat it in future writings. Well, I’m glad I got that out. They say being able to talk about your problems is a step in the right direction, towards healing? Jim?
There’s just one more thing, and then I’ll get back on track. I read something funny today in a newspaper I came across today at work. I can’t remember the exact specifics, so I’ll paraphrase to my heart’s content. The article was entitled something like ‘The Folly of Making Predicitions’. A man in 1894 predicted that ‘at the current rate, with the continuing rise in horse traffic, half of London’s streets would be buried under 9ft of horse manure… by 2050′. That made me laugh. Quite a lot.
Anyhow, back to the topic in hand, this being the 100th post. Now, according to the archives, I started this blog on the 28th of December 2007, so the blog isn’t even a year old yet! Even though I have mentioned that the blog might only be updated once a fortnight I’ve sometime updated the blog three times in a day!
Some posts, like this, are normal and some are ‘asides’ which are usually shorter and only contain mere snippets of info. Yet they’re still posts I guess. Even so, the blog has quickly got to 100 posts in only 6-7 months so all’s I can say is expect more posting goodness in the months to come!
Actually, I can say something else, but something much more important. Thank you very much to you, the reader. Without you this blog wouldn’t be worth writing. If you just want to read my material, that’s perfectly fine with me, though I’m eager for just a smidge of participation. Agree/disagree with any one of my posts? You can reply without having to register, or if you’re in a hurry, you can rate a post out of 5 stars. Alternatively, if you want to send an email about anything, I’m available via the contact form.
Here’s to another 100!

Welcome to my personal blog where I ramble on about PS3-related gaming matters and other snippets that interest me.
