I suppose I've unfairly highlighted my nitpicks to the extent that it sounds like it ruins the game, but it totally doesn't. I'd probably give it 4 out of 5 stars just for it being just so much fun and the visuals looking spectacular. It's like a good film with a bit of popcorn: it was totally worth giving it a watch, but it's not quite a classic that you're going to go back to time and again. Does this clarify things a bit? I actually like the games I rent to be easy, especially now when I'm too busy to play much. I do think Assassin's Creed did a great job with the crowds, so the lack of them in Prince of Persia is a little disappointing, but if the screenshots are any indication, the scenery will be pretty enough to distract me.
