(Note: I was originally going to call this post “Gentleman, start your engines” but due to equality issues and the phrase having nothing to do with trophies, it was scrapped. That’s your dose of trivia for the day!)
Well, enough games are now out there that have trophy support. First I had a ‘blast’ on Super [...]

I suppose this could be classed as an addendum to the About page. I won’t link to this post from the About page, so consider this a little gem, or golden nugget, if you like, of rich background info on why I do what I do.
I have been ‘about’ on the internet for almost a [...]
A Blogging Tip- If you check in the dashboard what people are searching for when they are arriving at your blog, ask yourself whether you’re providing enough info about that particular subject? If not, write more about that subject (if that’s the area you cover). This increases relevancy.
Just thought I’d mention that Los Havros now has some shiny new nuts and bolts. On the front end you can now use OpenID to post comments and see the most popular posts in the sidebar. Update: This broke my blog, so I’ll see if there’s anything I can do.
On the back end, I thought [...]
Well, not really famous but perhaps on the long and winding road to getting there. They say that everyone will get their 15 minutes of fame. If that is so, then I have got mine!
I was going through my usual routine: checking tweets, going on Flickr, reading feeds and cruising my admin area of my [...]
Ah, the mob. The mob have a lot to answer for. Mostly they are totally irrational and are always baying for blood. So what has the mob to do with me? My poor little video.
On my video I don’t think I was making any bold claims or outrageous statements, I was just proud of my [...]
Yes, this is officially the 100th post for my humble blog, Los Havros. I have decided that this post will take the form of a long, rambling, but hopefully entertaining passage for you to read or perhaps chuckle at.
Firstly, there is something that I’d like to address. I almost called this post ‘Our 100th, Jim’. [...]
Liverpool used to have a reputation for deprivation and high crime rate with no glimmer of hope on the horizon for its inhabitants. Over the past few years, that has very much changed. Yet being back in Liverpool for the celebrations for the Liverpool 2008 Capital of Culture, I did not see any real change. [...]
I suppose that this post has as much to do about money as it does about there being loads of games out there, but not having enough time to play them! Anyhow, I might as well recount from the beginning. I got my PS3 for Christmas 2007 and played on Assassin’s Creed. A lot. My [...]
Keeping it all together on FriendFeed- I’ve signed up to FriendFeed to aggregate all my various web activities together, all in one place. For now, I’m keeping it separate from my Facebook account and my email contacts. In the meantime, I’m going to figure out how to present this data on the blog. Anyhow, are [...]
I had originally uploaded this video onto Flickr, but it cut off the end bit. YouTube has a much generous time and size limit, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Anyhow:
So I have the choice of either keeping my videos down to a minute and a half to squeeze them [...]

Windows Live Writer CTP Released- Sounds interesting, but ever since Wordpress added full screen mode in version 2.5, that’s all’s I’ve been using. Full screen mode is just perfect for writing long blog posts.
