Valve ‘up’ on idea of PS3 development, waiting to build talented PS3 team- Apparantly it’s now a question of ‘when’ instead of ‘if’. Erm, finally?!

Hands-On With The PlayStation 3- I don’t know why I didn’t link to this sooner, but it’s an article written from the perspective of the (primarily) Xbox 360 gamer we all know and love: Rockers Delight. The discussion going on in the comments is really worth a look. Good stuff.
Yet Another Awesome PS3 Exclusive – inFamous- Matt Brett reviews inFamous which has made me want the game even more! Very insightful review and well worth a read with your favourite beverage. I’ll be picking this beauty up myself soon.
PlayStation.Blog.Europe now live- These guys are my new best friends in the world of PlayStation news. Billed as “Your daily fix of PlayStation news from across the SCEE region”, I look forward to reading all the great content that’s going to be hitting my screen from now on. Fantastic.
PixelJunk Eden Encore Launching on PSN this Thursday- I’m thinking I need to get this. Been playing a lot of Eden lately, but need to complete more of the original game before splurging out on Encore. See also- Joystiq coverage, official site.
Sony drops price on the wrong PlayStation- PS2 price cut for the US effective April 1. This means the cost of a new PS2 system will only be $99.99. Now, where the heck is the PS3 price cut that everyone (except Sony, of course) actually wants?
2K to release BioShock 2 simultaneously on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC- Equality rules! I haven’t managed to get started on the original yet, so personally, I hope the release date is far away. 2009 is going to be a game-tastic year for me.
Sony Now Charging Publishers For PS3 Downloadable Content, An Unpopular Policy Shift- I find this incredible. Publishers need incentives to publish their content on the PlayStation Network, not reasons to abandon the platform. I’m now thinking that when it came to the PS3, Sony got out of the wrong side of bed or something. Because [...]
Valve mocks PS3 listing of Left 4 Dead- I just don’t seem to get the guys at Valve. I love their work on the Half-Life series, but I just don’t see why when it comes to the PS3 they cease being creative professional developers who are respected by many in the profession, and descend into [...]
Bejeweled 2 Coming to PSN- What an amazing game. So addictive. I have played bejeweled many times on the web, and on Windows Live Messenger. At the moment, I have it on my iPod and I’ve never been happier. I might go and give it another spin now. There’s also other PopCap games coming to [...]
Four things Sony can do to turn the tide for the PS3 in 2009- 1) Drop the f*$&#*%^ price, 2) Get serious about online, 3) Stop making us wait for Thursday, 4) Remember that games are for fun. I’d say that points 1) and 2) are the most important as the PS3 DOES need a [...]
New book explains how Sony inadvertently helped make Xbox 360- Sounds facinating and probably explains quite a few things. It’s called ‘The Race for a New Game Machine‘ and is reviewed on the Wall Street Journal.
Welcome to my personal blog where I ramble on about PS3-related gaming matters and other snippets that interest me.
